Bill Haslam's 2009 Campaign Report Card

Since announcing his candidacy for governor of Tennessee on January 6, 2009, Bill Haslam has driven more than 45,000 miles across Tennessee, meeting people where they work and live, listening to their concerns, and sharing his plan for Tennessee’s future. Bill made more than 600 county stops, knocked on doors in 67 communities, and was the only gubernatorial candidate to visit all 95 counties in 2009.

While he holds a clear advantage in contributions, contributors, and total raised, fundraising events made up less than 10% of campaign visits, proving that Bill Haslam is a hardworking, grassroots focused candidate intent on earning every vote.
